Careers in action
This two-year learning program will appeal to people with demonstrated leadership experience from other industries, who are looking to change, grow or restart their careers.
You will come into Aurizon on an accelerated development program that provides opportunities within our operational areas. Along with on-the-job experience, you will participate in structured learning and training to build a strong foundation for a successful career.
Coming out of the program you will transition into a leadership position within the company.
Indigenous future leaders
Our Indigenous Future Leaders Program helps inspire and develop our First Nations employees to grow their careers at Aurizon.
The program starts with a two-day in-person workshop, followed by a series of virtual learnings using our internal training platform and short yarning circles over two years.
On successfully completing the program, participants receive a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Management and Leadership.
Mentoring foundations
We established this program to facilitate connections and learning through mentoring between emerging and experienced leaders in Aurizon.
It focuses on conversations to improve engagement, feedback and goal setting of emerging leaders.
Graduate program
This program offers rotation opportunities across the company, giving you the chance to learn within a range of different jobs and work environments.
